What is Proctor Doppler®?

PFI gives clients a disaster tracking report (Proctor Doppler) of zip codes affected by flood warnings, wild fires, hurricane watches/warnings and tropical storms.

PFI also provides all FEMA-declared disasters with links to the declarations for the client to obtain a list of the affected counties. Clients have utilized this valuable information in determining staffing for call centers, loss draft and claims departments.

To give the Proctor Doppler more user-friendly for clients and add a bit more flexibility, PFI can provide this disaster tracking information through a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or similar format to assist our clients in developing data templates to compare against their portfolio. This data is provided to clients for informational use only with their customers.

Proctor Financial also offers a Links page which allows you to access disaster-related websites such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Flood Insurance Program and the National Weather Service. You can utilize these resources to track hurricanes, storms, fires or other potential natural disasters.
